GB/T 23819-2009

This standard specifies the methods for identifying fire hazards caused by machinery and conducting corresponding risk assessments, and provides the basic concepts and methods for the technical fire prevention and control measures required in the design and manufacturing process of machinery. The main purpose of this standard is to achieve the required safety level through technical measures based on the intended use of the machinery, which are mainly integrated into the machinery itself and implemented by giving priority to the use of safety components. This standard does not apply to machinery containing controlled combustion processes (such as internal combustion engines and boilers), unless the combustion process may constitute an ignition source in other parts of the machinery or outside the machine.
