GB/T 8325-2026 Plastics—Polymer dispersions and rubber latices—Determination of pH
Abstract
This document describes a method for measuring the pH value of polymer dispersions and rubber latex (natural and synthetic) using a pH meter equipped with a glass and silver composite reference electrode.
This document is applicable to vulcanized rubber latex and compounds containing polymer dispersions or rubber latex, including adhesives.
Note 1: When the pH value is greater than 11, the accuracy of this method will decrease.
Note 2: pH meters equipped with other electrodes can also be used, as long as the results obtained are the same as those obtained with the aforementioned pH meters.
