This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, and content and requirements for data storage and compression of automatic vehicle license plate recognition systems.
This standard applies to all types of automatic vehicle license plate recognition systems based on image acquisition devices such as cameras, and does not apply to single-lane highway toll collection systems.
