Abstract
This part of GB/T 5019 specifies the performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for molded mica boards used for electrical insulation, which are made from flaked mica, with or without reinforcing materials, and bonded with suitable adhesives.
This part applies to molded mica boards used for electrical insulation, which are based on flaked mica and bonded with suitable adhesives. They are hard board-like materials under normal conditions and can be molded into various shapes under certain temperature conditions. Their nominal thickness ranges from 0.10 mm to 7 mm, and they can be supplied in sheets or rolls.
