Abstract
This standard specifies the test apparatus and test methods for laser ranging to measure the polymerization shrinkage of dental polymer-based restorative materials. This standard is primarily applicable to light-curing polymer-based restorative materials and filling restorative materials that are polymerized by light. This standard is not applicable to chemically curing and dual-curing (Class I and Class III) polymer-based restorative materials.
