GB/T 5019.8-2009 Specification for insulating materials based on mica—Part 8:Glass-backed mica paper with a B-stage epoxy resin binder
Abstract
This part of GB/T 5019 specifies the performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of electrical insulation materials made from mica paper and glass cloth, which are compounded and impregnated with epoxy resin.
This part is applicable to adhesive mica tapes with epoxy resin as the adhesive and single-sided or double-sided alkali-free glass cloth as the reinforcing material. The nominal thickness of these tapes ranges from 0.09 mm to 0.28 mm, and they are supplied in the form of strips, sheets, or rolls in a soft state. These Class B products are eventually cured after use.
