This document specifies the general requirements for the evaluation of photobiological safety of non-coherent light products, types of hazards, emission limits, risk level classification methods, marking, and safety control measures.
This document is applicable to non-coherent light products with emission wavelengths ranging from 200 nm to 3,000 nm, including various lamps and lamp systems, products intended for viewing and those not intended for viewing, LED lighting devices, etc.
