This part of GB/T 17626 specifies the test methods for protection devices against high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) conduction disturbance. It mainly includes tests on voltage breakdown and voltage limiting characteristics, as well as methods for measuring the residual voltage when voltage (u) and current (i) change rapidly as a function of time under HEMP conditions.
