This document specifies the terms, definitions, and symbols of water turbine pumps; their types, models, and basic parameters; technical requirements; test methods; inspection rules; marking; packaging; transportation; and storage.
This document is applicable to water turbine pumps used in agricultural irrigation, drainage, and hydropower, with a water head of 1 m to 35 m, a flow rate of 0.031 m3/s to 13.4 m3/s, a lift of 2.5 m to 300 m, a discharge flow rate of 3.7 L/s to 4,030 L/s, and a water head ratio of 1 to 40.
This document includes two measurement accuracy levels: Level 1 is applicable to tests with higher accuracy, and Level 2 is applicable to tests with lower accuracy. The two measurement accuracy levels include different tolerance coefficient values, allowable fluctuation values, and measurement uncertainty values.
This document is only applicable to water turbine pumps used as water lifting tools. Other types of water turbine pumps can be implemented as a reference.
