GB/T 33348-2024 Voltage sourced converter valves for high-voltage direct current power transmission—Electrical testing
Abstract
This document specifies the electrical type tests, product tests, and special tests for dynamic brake valves used in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) overvoltage limitation.
This document applies to three-phase bridge-type voltage source converters (VSC) in high-voltage direct current transmission systems or back-to-back systems. This document is limited to electrical type tests, product tests, and special tests.
The tests specified in this document are based on air-insulated valves. For other types of valves, the test requirements and acceptance criteria shall be agreed upon by the buyer and the seller.
