Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining the Type I interlaminar fracture toughness (critical energy release rate) GIC of unidirectional fiber-reinforced plastic composites using double cantilever beam (DCB) specimens.
This standard is applicable to thermoset and thermoplastic composites reinforced with carbon fiber and glass fiber.
