This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates and order forms (or contracts) for extruded flat bars and plates made of aluminum and aluminum alloys.
This standard applies to extruded flat bars and plates with a rectangular cross-section (excluding square ones) required by various industrial sectors.
