This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, and transportation of industrial detection-type infrared thermal imagers (hereinafter referred to as thermal imagers). This standard is applicable to thermal imagers used in industries such as electric power, metallurgy, coal mining, and petrochemicals.
