GB/T 3792.3-2009

This part of GB/T 3792 specifies the cataloguing items and their arrangement order for continuous resources, the identifiers used for cataloguing, the sources of cataloguing information, the text used for cataloguing, the principles for separately cataloguing continuous resources, and the detailed rules for cataloguing items, etc.
This part is applicable to national bibliographies, library catalogues, and various types of book catalogues.
The objects of cataloguing in this part are continuous resources on various carriers that do not have a clear end date of issuance. According to the issuance method, there are two types: continuous publications and integrated resources. The rules in this part also apply to the cataloguing of the following continuous resources: those issued periodically or with section numbering, resources with continuous publication characteristics (e.g., titles containing publication frequency) but with a limited publication period (e.g., news reports on a certain event), replicas of continuous publications, and limited integrated resources (e.g., the website of the 29th Olympic Games) etc.
