The chapter of GB4706.1—2005 is replaced by the following content: This part concerns the safety of fabric steamers for household and similar purposes, with the rated voltage of the appliances not exceeding 250 V. Appliances that are not intended for general household use but may still pose a danger to the public, such as fabric steamers intended for use by non-professionals in stores, light industry, and farms, are also covered by this part.
