Abstract
This standard specifies the terminology, technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for the clips of spliced steel wire rope slings.
This standard applies to the clips of six-strand steel wire rope slings spliced manually or mechanically using the folding or interlocking methods. The clips of other multi-strand steel wire ropes can be implemented with reference to this standard.
