GB/T 230.2-2012 Metallic materials—Rockwell hardness test—Part 2:Verification and calibration of testing machines
Abstract
This part of GB/T 230 specifies the inspection methods for Rockwell hardness testers (hereinafter referred to as hardness testers) used to determine Rockwell hardness (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, K, N, T scales) according to GB/T 230.1.
This part is applicable to the direct inspection method for checking the basic functions of the hardness tester and the indirect inspection method for comprehensive inspection of the hardness tester. The indirect inspection method can be used independently for regular inspections of the hardness tester in use.
If the hardness tester can also be used for hardness tests by other methods, the hardness tester should be inspected separately for each method.
This part is also applicable to portable hardness testers.
