Abstract
This standard specifies the measurement methods for the acoustic characteristics of ultrasound-mimicking tissue materials. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the density of ultrasound-mimicking tissue materials and their sound velocity, sound attenuation coefficient, and backscattering coefficient within the frequency range of 1 MHz to 10 MHz. These materials are primarily used in the production of ultrasound phantoms.
