Abstract
This standard specifies the types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, labels, and accompanying documents, as well as the packaging, transportation, and storage of life rafts for aviation use (hereinafter referred to as "life rafts"). This standard applies to the development, production, and inspection of inflatable life rafts with a rated capacity of two or more passengers for emergency rescue during aircraft water landings.
