Abstract
This part of GB/T 15972 specifies the test method for determining the tensile strength of fiber samples. The purpose of this part is to establish a unified technical requirement for the mechanical properties of optical fibers - tensile strength. This part is applicable to the measurement of multi-mode fibers of types A1, A2, and A3, and single-mode fibers of type B.
