GB/T 9043-2008 General technical requirements of gas discharge tubes for the over-voltage protection of telecommunications installations
Abstract
This standard specifies the relevant definitions, classification and naming, requirements, and basic requirements concerning radioactive substances, test methods, environmental tests, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, and transportation of diode and triode gas discharge tubes (hereinafter referred to as discharge tubes). This standard applies to diode and triode gas discharge tubes used for overvoltage protection in communication equipment. This standard does not address the design, structure, geometric dimensions, installation and use, transmission quality, and protective effects of discharge tubes.
