GB/T 25000.40-2018 Systems and software engineering—Systems and software Quality Requirements and Evaluation(SQuaRE)—Part 40:Evaluation process
Abstract
This part of GB/T 25000 includes requirements and recommendations for evaluating the quality of software products, and clarifies general concepts. It provides a process description for evaluating the quality of software products and specifies the requirements for applying this process. The evaluation process can be used for different purposes and methods. It can be used for evaluating the quality of pre-developed software, commercial off-the-shelf software, or customized software, as well as during or after the development process. This part establishes the relationship between the evaluation reference model and SQuaRE documents, and explains how to use SQuaRE documents correspondingly in each activity of the evaluation process. This part is intended for those responsible for evaluating the quality of software products, and is primarily suitable for software product developers, customers, and independent evaluators. These three methods are described in detail in GB/T 25000.41. This part is not intended for evaluating other aspects of software products (such as functional requirements, process requirements, business requirements, etc.).
