Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and order forms (or contracts) for copper wire billets used in electrical applications. This standard applies to circular-section copper wire billets with a diameter of 6.0 mm to 35.0 mm, which are used for further drawing of wire or other electrical copper conductors.
