GB 4706.89-2008 Household and similar electrical appliances—Safety—Particular requirements for high pressure cleaners and steam cleaners, for industrial and commercial use
Abstract
This section applies to high-pressure cleaners with a pressure of not less than 25×105 Pa (25 bar) and not more than 250×105 Pa (250 bar), and the input power of their high-pressure pump drive units does not exceed 10 kW. This section also applies to steam cleaners with an effective tank volume of equal to or greater than 1.5 L, even if their pressure is lower than 25×105 Pa (25 bar). This section also applies to fixed appliances within the range described in the previous paragraph. This section also applies to appliances that use other forms of energy instead of electric motors, but their effects must be taken into account.
