Abstract
This standard specifies the method of using eddy current testing to determine the electrical conductivity of aluminum alloys. The method specified in this standard is applicable to aluminum alloy materials or products. The eddy current testing method for electrical conductivity specified in this standard, when combined with other testing methods, can indirectly identify the heat treatment status and performance of materials or products (such as microstructure uniformity, mechanical properties, aging state, overheating degree, and resistance to stress corrosion, etc.).
