Abstract
This part of GB/T 4934 specifies the types, structural components, and specifications of strain-controlled direct shear apparatuses (hereinafter referred to as direct shear apparatuses), technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for unified use. This part is applicable to strain-controlled direct shear apparatuses used to measure the shear strength of soil samples under different vertical pressure conditions.
