Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining vitamin B12 in food.
Method I: Liquid chromatography is suitable for determining vitamin B12 in infant and children's foods, milk and dairy products, meat and meat products.
Method II: Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry is suitable for determining vitamin B12 in infant and children's foods, milk and dairy products, meat and meat products, ready-to-eat cereals, baked goods, jelly, and beverages.
Method III: Microbiological method is suitable for determining vitamin B12 in infant and children's foods, milk and dairy products.
