This standard specifies the physical and chemical test methods for raw rubber; it also stipulates the standard materials, standard test formulations, equipment, and operating methods used to evaluate the vulcanization characteristics of solution-polymerized butadiene rubber (BR) [including oil-extended types (OEBR)]; and the method for evaluating the tensile stress-strain performance of vulcanized rubber.
