Abstract
This part of GB/T 1408 proposes a test method for determining the short-time electrical strength of solid insulating materials at power frequency (i.e., 48 Hz to 62 Hz).
This part specifies the use of liquids and gases as immersion agents or surrounding media for testing solid insulating materials, but it is not applicable to tests involving liquids and gases.
