Abstract
This part of GB/T 228 specifies the principles, definitions, symbols and explanations of the tensile testing method for metal materials, the measurement of specimens and their dimensions, testing equipment, testing requirements, performance determination, rounding of measurement results, and test reports.
This part is applicable to the determination of the tensile properties of metal materials at room temperature.
Note: Appendix A provides supplementary recommendations for computer-controlled testing machines.
