Abstract
This document specifies the terms and definitions, quality requirements, sampling, inspection procedures, inspection methods, and packaging, storage, transportation, and marking for fresh silkworm cocoons.
This document is applicable to fresh silkworm cocoons used in the production, processing, trading, and storage processes, where quality inspections and grading are conducted using indicators such as dry shell weight, fresh cocoon cuticle weight, fresh cocoon cuticle rate, and total cocoon weight. Natural-colored silkworm cocoons can also be used as reference materials for inspection and grading.
