Abstract
This standard specifies the classification and grades of malleable cast iron parts, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking of castings, surface protection, and packaging and storage requirements.
This standard applies to malleable cast iron parts cast in sand molds or molds with thermal conductivity equivalent to sand molds.
Malleable cast iron parts cast in other molds can also be used for reference.
