GB/T 33488.2-2017 Test method of pressure equipments of thermoplastics welded for chemicals—Part 2:Visual examination
Abstract
This part of GB/T 33488 specifies the general requirements, inspection methods, result evaluation, and inspection reports for the appearance inspection of pressure-bearing equipment welded with plastics for chemical use. This part is applicable to pressure vessels and welded joints of pressure pipelines made from thermoplastic plastic pipes or plates such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), and modified polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and welded using hot air welding, extrusion welding, hot melt welding, and electric fusion welding processes.
