Abstract
This document describes the method of measuring the indentation hardness of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber using a portable rubber international hardness tester. This method is mainly used for quality control, rather than for standardized products (the standard is specified in ISO 48-2). Fixing the portable hardness tester to a stand can improve its measurement accuracy.
