Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, codes and markings, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of roller shutter doors and windows.
This standard applies to roller shutter doors and windows used in industrial and civil buildings.
This standard does not apply to side roller shutter doors and windows, or roller shutter doors and windows with special performance requirements such as fire prevention and burglar prevention. Other non-metallic roller shutter doors and windows may refer to and implement this standard accordingly.
