GB/T 4056-2019 Dimensions of ball and socket couplings of string insulator units
Abstract
This standard specifies the dimensions of the standard ball and socket joint series using standard locking pins (see GB/T 25318-2019), including the dimensions and tolerances involved in the installation of insulators in the ball and socket, and also stipulates the dimensions of the inspection gauges required to check these dimensions, so as to ensure the interchangeability of insulators or metal accessories.
This standard applies to disc-shaped and long-rod-shaped insulator string elements and their metal accessories of the ball and socket joint.
The dimensions of the ball and socket specified in this standard apply to finished products after any surface treatment.
Appendix A gives the limit positions of the ball in the socket.
Note: This standard only relates to the dimensions necessary for installation, and does not specify material properties and working loads. The matching of connection marks with strength grades is specified in GB/T 7253-2019 and GB/T 26874-2011.
