Abstract
1.1 This part of GB/T 12010 specifies the naming system for polyvinyl alcohol (PVAL) materials, which can be used as a basis for classification. 1.2 Polyvinyl alcohol (PVAL) materials are classified based on the following characteristics and performance, as well as information on related base polymer parameters, intended uses and/or processing methods, important properties, additives, colorants, fillers, and reinforcing materials: a) Hydrolysis degree; b) Water solution viscosity under specified conditions.
