Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, aluminum, titanium, copper, cobalt, boron, vanadium, molybdenum, and niobium in low-alloy steel by glow discharge atomic emission spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, aluminum, titanium, copper, cobalt, boron, vanadium, molybdenum, and niobium in low-alloy steel. The determination ranges of each element are listed in Table 1.
