GB/T 6398-2017 Metallic materials—Fatigue testing—Fatigue crack growth method
Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining the stress intensity factor range from the fatigue crack propagation threshold value ΔKth to the fatigue crack propagation rate before the onset of rapid instability cracking. This standard is applicable to measuring the crack propagation rate of isotropic metal materials under predominantly elastic stress and with only forces acting perpendicular to the crack surface (Type I stress conditions) and under fixed stress ratio R conditions.
