Abstract
This part of GB/T 28029 specifies the requirements for the Ethernet train backbone network (ETB) to meet the open train communication system based on Ethernet technology.
Regardless of the type of grouping network technology used (see GB/T 28029.1-2020), this part ensures the interoperability between local grouping subnets. All grouping network definitions should take this part into account to maintain interoperability.
When both the supplier and the customer agree, this part can be applied to closed train and multi-unit train systems.
