GB 17498.5-2008 Stationary training equipment—Part 5:Pedal crank training equipment—Additional specific safety requirements and test methods
Abstract
This part of GB 17498 stipulates additional special safety requirements specifically for crank pedal type training equipment, in addition to the general safety requirements of GB 17498.1. This part should be used in conjunction with GB 17498.1.
This part applies to crank pedal type training equipment (hereinafter referred to as training equipment) in fixed fitness equipment.
Any additional devices on crank pedal type training equipment used for completing additional training should comply with the requirements of GB 17498.1.
This part of GB 17498 does not apply to standing roller type training equipment that cannot guarantee safety by reasonable manufacturing methods.
