GB 22793.1-2008 Furniture—Children's high chair—Part 1:Safety requirements
Abstract
This part of GB 22793 specifies the safety requirements for household children's high chairs, with the aim of minimizing accidents caused by children's high chairs and multi-purpose high chairs used as children's high chairs during normal use or reasonably foreseeable misuse.
This part does not apply to high chairs that can be converted into low chairs, low chairs and low tables, as well as high chairs with additional functions such as baby walkers, pushchairs, rocking chairs, car seats, and reclining low chairs.
This part does not apply to accidents or injuries that may be caused by children playing with each other in high chairs, or accidents caused by misuse or abuse of high chairs by children over the age of 3.
