Abstract
This standard specifies the types and sizes of indexable A-type tool holders, the rules for model designation, the reference point K, marking examples, technical requirements, marking and packaging, and other basic requirements. This standard applies to tool holders with indexable inserts that are installed tilted with screws on boring bars or other tool bodies, and are used for end milling (with the feed direction parallel to the length of the tool holder), side milling (with the feed direction perpendicular to the length of the tool holder), and end and side milling simultaneously.
