Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for the design of pipeline transmission systems in the oil and gas industry, including pipelines and main piping equipment, station and terminal design, materials and coatings, corrosion management, construction, pressure testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning, operation, maintenance, and disposal. This document applies to all new and modified steel metal pipeline systems. This document does not apply to flexible pipelines or pipelines made of other materials, such as fiberglass reinforced plastics.
