Abstract
This standard specifies the design and calculation of cylindrical coil springs made of round-section materials.
This standard applies to cylindrical coil compression springs, tension springs, and torsion springs made of round-section materials (hereinafter referred to as springs).
This standard does not apply to springs made of non-round-section materials, or springs with special materials or special performance requirements.
