Abstract
This standard specifies the electrical performance requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for power batteries used in electric vehicles (hereinafter referred to as batteries). This standard applies to lithium-ion batteries and nickel metal hydride batteries installed in electric vehicles, both as individual units and modules. Other types of batteries should be implemented in accordance with this standard.
