Abstract
This document specifies the safety-related requirements for lighting fixtures using electric light sources and power rail systems for lighting fixtures.
This document applies to portable lighting fixtures with a power supply voltage not exceeding 250 V, night lights installed with power sockets, and other lighting fixtures and power rail systems with a power supply voltage not exceeding 1,000 V.
This document does not apply to emergency lighting fixtures.
