GB/T 19510.209-2023 Controlgear for electric light sources—Part 2-9:Particular requirements for electromagnetic controlgear for discharge lamps(excluding fluorescent lamps)
Abstract
This document specifies the special safety requirements for electromagnetic control devices for discharge lamps such as high-pressure mercury lamps, low-pressure sodium lamps, high-pressure sodium lamps, and metal halide lamps. This document applies to inductive electromagnetic control devices used on AC power supplies of less than 1,000 V and 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The rated power, dimensions, and characteristics of the discharge lamps used with these devices are specified in IEC 60188, IEC 60192, or IEC 60662. This document applies to complete electromagnetic control devices and their components, such as reactors, transformers, and capacitors. Appendix A provides special requirements for thermal protection electromagnetic control devices. For certain types of discharge lamps, a trigger is required. Note: The electromagnetic control devices for fluorescent lamps are specified in GB/T 19510.208-2023. Performance requirements can be found in IEC 60923.
