Abstract
This document defines the terms and definitions of dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) filters based on array waveguide grating (AWG) technology (hereinafter referred to as "AWG filters"); specifies the classification, technical requirements, reliability tests, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements; and describes the corresponding test methods. This document is applicable to the design, development, production, and inspection of dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) filters based on array waveguide grating (AWG) technology.
