Abstract
This standard specifies the method outline, reagents, instruments and equipment, samples, analysis steps, calculation of analysis results, and allowable deviations for determining the carbon content in continuous casting protective slag by combustion gas volume method and infrared absorption method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of carbon content in continuous casting protective slag. The combustion gas volume method has a measurement range of 0.500% to 10.00% (mass fraction); the infrared absorption method has a measurement range of 0.500% to 30.00% (mass fraction).
